Description
This rich and smooth hot chocolate dip is perfect for festive gatherings, offering a delightful experience of dipping marshmallows and cookies into creamy chocolate goodness.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup hot cocoa mix
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate chips, for garnish
- Mini marshmallows, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until itβs smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar and hot cocoa mix to the bowl. Mix until combined, scraping down the sides as needed.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture using a spatula. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream; you want it fluffy!
- Stir in the vanilla extract until just combined. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with chocolate chips and mini marshmallows for garnish.
