Savory Cream Cheese Pickle Wraps Recipe – Best Party Appetizer

  • Author: Tessa
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

These savory cream cheese pickle wraps combine salty, creamy, and tangy flavors for a quick and irresistible appetizer perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Whole dill pickles
  • Cream cheese (full-fat or reduced-fat)
  • Thinly sliced deli meat (ham, turkey, or roast beef)
  • Green onions (optional, thinly sliced)
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take the cream cheese out of the fridge about 10 minutes before starting to soften it.
  2. Drain pickles and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Lay a piece of deli meat flat on the cutting board. Layer two slices if the meat is thin.
  4. Spread a generous layer of softened cream cheese across the deli meat using a butter knife or spatula.
  5. Add a sprinkle of garlic powder or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  6. Place the pickle at one end of the cream cheese-covered deli meat. Add green onions alongside the pickle if using.
  7. Carefully roll the pickle up in the meat, starting at the end where the pickle is placed. Keep the roll tight without squeezing out the cream cheese.
  8. Press the seam to seal the roll. Use a toothpick if needed to hold it in place.
  9. Slice the rolled pickle into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch thick, using a sharp knife.
  10. Arrange the slices on a serving platter, cut-side up to showcase the swirl of creamy cheese and pickle.

Notes

[‘Use cold pickles for easier handling and refreshing crunch.’, ‘Blot pickles dry to prevent cream cheese from sliding.’, ‘Flavored cream cheese can add extra depth to the wraps.’, ‘Layer two slices of deli meat if they are thin or prone to tearing.’, ‘Use a serrated knife for clean cuts without squishing the wraps.’]
