  • Author: Tessa
  • Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 16 servings 1x

Description

This quick peanut butter fudge recipe is rich, creamy, and perfect for holiday gatherings or gifting. It’s easy to make and requires no baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups (240g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) milk
  • Optional: crushed peanuts, chocolate drizzle, or flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a bit of overhang for easy removal later.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter and 1/2 cup (115g) of unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Sift 2 cups (240g) of powdered sugar into the melted mixture to avoid lumps. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well combined and smooth.
  4. Gradually add 2 tablespoons (30ml) of milk to the mixture while stirring. This helps achieve the perfect fudge consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top using a rubber spatula.
  6. Sprinkle crushed peanuts, drizzle melted chocolate, or add a pinch of flaky sea salt for extra flavor and texture.
  7. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  8. Once set, use the overhanging parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

[‘Use softened butter for a smoother texture.’, ‘Sift powdered sugar to avoid lumps.’, ‘Work quickly to transfer the mixture to the pan before it sets.’, ‘Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to ensure the fudge sets properly.’, ‘For a less sweet fudge, reduce the powdered sugar slightly and add a pinch of salt.’]
