Description
This Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip is a festive treat that combines creamy cheesecake with the spicy sweetness of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It’s easy to make and perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup molasses
- Gingerbread cookies or graham crackers for dipping
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and molasses to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, pour in the cold heavy whipping cream. Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form (about 3-4 minutes).
- Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula. Be gentle to keep the mixture light and airy.
- Once fully combined, transfer the dip to a serving bowl. If you have extra gingerbread cookies, crumble a few on top for garnish!
- Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
- Serve with gingerbread cookies or graham crackers for dipping.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature to avoid lumps. This dip can be made gluten-free with the right cookies and can be adapted for dairy-free diets.
