- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated

- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 naan breads, warmed
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 small red onion, sliced thinly
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken marinade by combining yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, ground cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Place the chicken thighs into the marinade, ensuring they’re fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing plain yogurt with chopped mint and cilantro in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Grill the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is charred.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice into thin strips.
- Warm the naan breads on the grill for about 1 minute per side, or until soft and pliable.
- Spread a generous spoonful of yogurt sauce on each naan. Top with sliced chicken, cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
- Fold the naan around the fillings to create a wrap. Serve immediately.
