  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large stockpot over medium heat. Once hot, add the diced onion, sliced carrots, and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and fragrant.
