  • ½ cup plain or Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Start by placing the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound them to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
  2. Set Up the Breading Station: In one bowl, beat the egg. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
  5. Arrange the Chicken: Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the breaded chicken in the basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
