  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

A rich and indulgent fall drink combining creamy pumpkin, white chocolate, and warm spices, perfect for cozy gatherings or chilly nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or maple syrup (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Heat over medium-low heat until the mixture is warm but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips to the saucepan. Whisk continuously until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Stir in 1/3 cup of pumpkin puree and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and sweetener to taste (start with 1 tablespoon of sugar or maple syrup, and adjust as needed). Stir well.
  5. Continue to heat the mixture for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring it doesn’t boil. You want it hot, but not scalding.
  6. Remove from heat and pour the creamy pumpkin white hot chocolate into your favorite mugs using a ladle.
  7. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy every cozy sip!

Notes

[‘Use high-quality white chocolate for a smoother and richer drink.’, ‘Don’t let the milk boil to avoid curdling or developing a skin.’, ‘Taste the hot chocolate before adding extra sweetener as white chocolate is naturally sweet.’, ‘You can prepare the base ahead of time and reheat gently before serving.’, ‘Experiment with spices like cardamom or allspice for a flavor twist.’]
