Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Slice your French bread or Italian loaf in half lengthwise. Place both halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup (1 stick) softened unsalted butter, 4 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
- Using a brush or spatula, generously spread the garlic butter mixture over each half of the bread. Make sure to cover every inch for maximum flavor.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over both halves of the bread. For extra flavor, add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
